ROFLMAO.... It could have the sails reefed. Sailing slower is always fairly easy to do...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

SD, the only boat that can chase me over here, has to have an engine.

There is one, a TP52, but he doesn't play in my small league!!!

So I didn't assume nothing

short story

Here is a short story for you. My best buddy just bought his first boat, A Hunter 25. We took her out in Galveston Bay on Friday ( befote the winter showed up) Sailed sweet as can be. He got her back to the dock his first time out with out hitting a thing!! It took me 8 years to convince him he needed his own boat, I guess I just lost good crew.

Pigslo-

Your own d@mn fault for telling him to get a boat... though I'm having a weird sense of dejá vu about your post...like I've read it before someplace.

Giulietta-

I know there are probably some multihulls in the area that would leave your boat in the dust... If you say there aren't... you're either lying or delusional. I leave 40'+ boats in my wake all the time... and my boat is only 28' long... but it has three hulls...being a trimaran... And most sailboats have engines... but you never said that the boat would need an engine to catch you... I bet the TP52 has an engine on it...
