Could this be the end of dinghies as we have known them?
I can't recall how many versions of the flying car or personal "jet pack" there have been over the years. They work, but just don't become widely accepted. I loved the line "gravity is a formidable adversary". I once saw a jet pack that literally had a pogo stick contraption that was supposed to save your life, if the engine failed. Right.
In a way, I hope these never become viable. Judging all the drivers who can't follow the 2 dimensional rules of the road, or just stink at driving, and the number of irresponsible drone pilots, I'm not looking forward to the masses trying to navigate 3 dimensions.
