and the model?

It's not from Westsail, definitely. Somebody told me that it comes from Norway?

Thanks in advance.

Looks as if it could be a Colin Archer design!

The first link is bogus when you click on it... the second is in Chinese with almost no information about the boat and a lousy photo of it. You can't tell what the underbody of the design looks like...it could be fin keel, though I really doubt it... I don't think you can really tell the maker or model from the information you've given so far.

Given that the website is Tawainese, I would guess that the boat is more likely a Chinese-built, than a Norwegian built boat.

It appears to be an Atkins Ingrid. The Ingrids were designed for wood construction but were also built in glass. There were several glass versions but the best known was the Alejuella. Nice boats in a lot of ways.

Could be... here's a better photo of an Atkins Ingrid....in wood.

I blew up the picture and noticed that she's US documented--Name is KING YUNE HOU out of QUILCENE WA. Checked with the list of American documented vessels, and she's listed. She's 38' LOA, fiberglass and built by Blue Water Boats, Inc. in 1971; previous names were RISKY VENTURE and
REYKJAVIK. Her current owner is THOMAS A STAMPS. Now to find where Blue Water Boats is/was and tack down the designer

hope this helps, bill

You ever work at CSI?

Giulietta 01-25-2007 04:11 PM

This reminds me of a joke where a guy could find out who had been in the crapper just by looking at the rest room tiles, and the colour of the dung!!!!!!:D :D :D

sailortjk1 01-25-2007 04:16 PM

How the heck did you do that?
Nice work Bristol.

Cruisingdad 01-25-2007 04:19 PM

I think Bristol works for the CIA. Note to self: Be nice to Bristol. Be nice to Bristol. Be nice to Bristol.

Ahhh... I think I can remember.

PS Giu, you are on thin ice so watch out what you say around Bristol. You are entering US waters soon, you know. I have already alerted them.
