Some sailing photos...

I have a whole bunch of photos that were taken by a sail magazine, here in Europe, called VELA, to be used on their February issue.

Since they will not use all of them, and I can't get them uploaded in the members section, I will post some of the few I have here.

dedicated to those on snow or "feet dry" now......

Thank you for watching...more to come soon...

Thanks for reminding us that we're not sailing right now... Nice photos btw... looks like it was a great day for sailing.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

SD sorry about that, I really am...can't imagine that happening to me....that is not the purpose why I posted them....sorry, ok?

This is Portugal...small place, but you can sail (good sail) all year round, but better in the winter.....faster colder winds than in Summer. And very very predictable, too.

I guess here everyday is a good day, as long as I can sail...life is good and I am very thankfull for all this...

Maybe all of us poor sailnet members stuck in the cold could come for a visit . My friend went to the Azores and said they were beautiful. He also brought back some damn good homemade wine...very strong stuff. Come on...well all come over and have a big party and drool over your boat

I wouldn't go out sailing today...it's about 12˚ F and with wind chill is somewhere around -10 or so... and a bit less than that on the water, since the wind is stronger, but the water warms the air up a bit...Definitely hypothermia weather today.

South Cross,

You, and anyone here that visits Cascais, just needs to let me know, and I will most certainly welcome you aboard my boat.

Please, no weirdo's, hippies, "knows alls", perverts, child abusers, sofa sailors that recommend "copy paste" stuff and idiots with bad humour. (Owner reserves right to refuse French people, too).

Everyone else, Portugal is open.....fares now from Newark at $650.00 return
