The Ocean Channel!

New cable network all y'all need to see. All things ocean. Sailing, fishing, diving, eco, and whaling! JUST KIDDING! no whaling. New network from Hawaii Oceanic I believe. Call your cable company and ask for it.
I have nothing to do with them but I would like to see it make it and expand.

I had water Channel for quit awhile, it was great, then all of a sudden it changed to Country Coin Channel, now instead of sailing, diving, surfing, I get 3 hillbillies in a barn selling coins and sh*t.

Dish network can't explain it to me

We don't get motor week down here I can only guess as to it's format. There is an English sailing program (world of sailing ? maybe) that we get down here on a cable channel called UKTV. Focus unfortunately is on racing but I guess that's to be expected. Attitudes and Lattitudes has it's own program but from the preview I've seen it's pretty light and fluffy, which is to be expected. Something dedicated to cruising but with a bit of depth to it would be nice.

Wouldn't it be awesome if there were a sailing channel, I'd even settle for a boating channel

Motorweek formats does a review two autos a week, some mechanical tips, Industry trends, and long term reviews. http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/home.shtml

Chef,
Don't you get the water channel ? I guess it could be a load of rubbish but I'd like to see what it was like.

ps - can I have one of those BMW 635s please.

Nope!

I would think, at the least, a program dedicated to sailing would be of interest to a network like the Outdoor Channel or Discovery Channel???

At least run the shows over the winter...I can see why they wouldn't have good ratings the rest of the year

Broadband TV

Check out these two broadband streaming video sites. t2p and Sail.tv

I've subscrived to t2p and enjoyed it, but usually when I'm at the computer, I've got work to do, so I don't get to play.

Sail Tv is the English program i mentioned in my earlier post but what we get on cable down here is just a weekly highlights show. Site looks good, will have a play around when I get the chance.
