Latt & Att Publication

For those of you that asked (either so you can read it or so you can avoid reading it) here it is, the first one to come out... March 2007 #82 (10th anniversary edition), page 120. Timing Is Everything (although I named it 'A Most Untimely Event').

I write my nautical stuff under Cruising Dad... just in case you would have never guessed!!! Some of the older members will remember this one as I wrote about it here. I think most of the other ones coming out are new though, with the exception of The Grill Run.

Always welcome the thoughts...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Uhh, Bob, haven't been able to look at that one yet. The wife is watching over my shoudler...

I can see one thing right now though: My pathetic little story would be Pulitzer material if I added some pictures like that!! Well, on second thought, I am afraid the pictures that accompany my story might be a bit more of a turn-off... ya think??

What a laugh!

I needed a good laugh! After bombing a test this morning and realizing that if I don't stop dreaming for just a second and study a little I may not be cruising this summer!

I'm only on page 123 but I did look ahead to 184, thinking I'll just skip all those in between! I love being single!

I also enjoyed the article Bob wrote about how he got here. I've read his books and the rag for a few years now, but he had some good info on starting the rag I didn't know...$750,000 in the red! Nothing comes easy.
