Giulietta is up for sale. It appears the owner has decide to trade up for a Catalina or a Formosa.
I have been asked to brokerage this fine vessel and have inspected it myself. I find it maticulously well done and the pride of the Portugese fleet. As such, I will start the bidding appropriately. DO I hear $5 EU? Well, what about $5 US? Somone? Come on now guys, it has a half tank of diesel. That has to be worth something!! $4.50?
Geez, guys, you buch of tight wads. Come on!!! Giu will think I am not representing his boat well if someone doesn't bite. Allright: there are several bottles of French wine aboard. Any takers now?
Ok Cruiserwannabee, finally a honest offer. I am required, as an honest broker, for full disclosure: THere is water damage down below. Apparently, the owner clogged up the head one night (he had been drinking too much french wine) and tried to rinse it all out with a water hose. It has been reported that he blamed this on some innocent French sailors, but full disclsure (and honest) must be made here. I hope that does not dissuade your interest?
Well, I know you all have seen the beautiful pictures of how Giulietta looked before the water damage, so keep those in mind as I show you what it look like after the water damage:
First, here is where it all started with his overindulgence of wine:
Now here is the salon.... A little TLC and she can be right back to normal:
PS - Are you sure you don't want to sell her? I think I can squeeze a few more bucks out of Cardiac Paul (since he hasn't seen the pictures yet). Might even get you $25 US. Of course, I have not told him you already drank all the French wine. You might have to give a little. And don't forget I get 10% commission.
I assumed the Boat. His wife is worth much more than the boat.
OK, you drive a hard bargain. I'll make it 2 bottles of Strawberry Hill.
