Even it is a repeat (and I'm not sure it was) it was worth seeing again. Pity about the music though. I love to listen to real soundtrack. Awesome stuff, I doubt I have the cajones to do that.

All boats are sinking it's just a matter of how fast.

Yes...besides a video camera you need:

1) very very very fast Volvo racer
2) A Helicopter
3) A crew of crazy people
4) 35Kts wind

Mix all together...there you go....

Yes, but not that fast..thus the "I wish"!!!
They mised some footage from the Volvo with footage of the Whitbread and the old Maxi's.

I wish I had a boat like that....and the $$$$ to race one for a year....

That would be incredible, just to be rail meat. Although, I think all hands would be busy on a boat like that. Reminds me to sign up for some crews this season.

BF, they don't really use rail meat. They have water ballast and canting keels.

All crew are at least over 15 years experienced and "hand picked"....it take not only skill as a sailor, but an upmost mental attitude to whitsand sailing like that around the World, day and night non stop (except for the few stops they do). These guys are completely nuts.

I met the Brazilian team here in Portugal, where they trained after the qualifying stage (they also hit a whale). Torban Grael is the best sailor in Brasil, and they all looked nuts....the boat has absolutely no living conditions, and they even cut the handles of their toothbrushes to save weight...it takes a few kind....mentally prepared for that...
