Suggestions for day sail charter in Bay area

Hi All, I will be in the San Francisco area this weekend, and the probably the Monterey area next week. Last summer was my 1st year sailing - on my 1st boat - fixed keel Seafarer 23. I would like to get a day of sailing in, while on vacation out here, but am obviously not accredited, nor experienced enough to bareboat, etc. Any recommendations on Charters in the bay area, this time of year.

I don't have any experience with either of these outfits, but it's the best I can come up with.

Hope this helps.

There is a guy on cragslist who advertises just what you want.Go to www.craigslist.com and hit boats then search sail

I live and sail in SF. The CL listing is good, I have heard good things about him. Places like club natique, or ocsc, etc are good schools, but expensive for chartering, and you won't get one of their boats alone without a license and jumping through hoops.
The Ruby charter is a 60' beauty that charters daysails etc, but not much hands on. Josh(?) is a great guy and captain.(google ruby charter)
You will find more options in Sausalito than SF.
I would take you this weekend, but I will be out with relatives and kids, full boat already, sorry.
The race season is just starting to gear up here, so if worse comes to worse, you could troll the docks and find a crew spot.
