Sailing In Douglas Wyoming...

Can you imagine, for someone that lived all its life in the ocean, how it is to be in a place like this...with its own beauty...but no water????

Her's a few photos of where I am.....the ocean of dirt....(sorry photos are bad...cell phone).

Here's a cross roads...from "no where" to "nothing" in the North South axis and from "almost something" to "not there yet" in the East west axis....

And here..well just imagine the Cougar....

Reminds me when I was stationed in Colorado and traveled from Boulder to Lakewood, WA (south of Seattle). For the most part a very boring drive through Wyoming. Plus very winding.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Giu -- Reminds me of an old saying about Texas, but applies to what you are seeing:

Never have I driven so far to see so little.
