GIULIETTA IN SAIL MAGAZINES (see blog)

In January and February, my boat Giulietta was the object of 2 European Sailing Magazines.

The articles were printed in VELA (Portuguese for SAIL) and NAVEGAR (Portuguese for Sailing) Magazines, unfortunately printed in the Portuguese version, so you guys will not understand much...it talks how the boat was born, why and how...

However, I had it translated, and thanks to Camaraderie, its possible to see both now.

SAIL
NAVEGAR

Enjoy

Thank you all.

Here are the scanned pages, so if you want to read it in English go to the blog.

VELA

NAVEGAR

Dear Giu, my friend,

It has become obvious in reading the thread and magazines that they are clearly experts in the boating and yachting world. I have no doubt that their opinions and objective views should be classified as nothing but the gospel truth. As sure as Magellan might say, "The church says the earth is flat, but I know that it is round, for I have seen the shadow on the moon, and I have more faith in a shadow than in the church,", Thus I should consider the comments and views expressed as something between the church and the sailing gods.

However, my Portugese is a little poor. I need your help in translating a key piece of the article. Your help would be appreciated. What does this mean:

Caracteristicas tecnicas comparadas -

Beneteau Oceanis 40 .... Jeanneau Sun Od. 391

What does that mean, and why didn't they include: MacGregor 26???

Right now it would be Britney Spears wouldn't it Giu ?
In rehab - but only for a short while!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things y%^&*.....oh never mind. 90% of the people on sailing forums already use that as their signature! I'm not a conformist.

Just the fact that you guys know of Brittany Spears and that she doesn't wear underwear scares the crap out of me
