Aye. There's a reason for that theme music. The boat in the video is Disney's entry in the '05-'06 Volvo Ocean Race. She's a Volvo Open 70, named The Black Pearl, and skippered by Paul Cayard.

Here's one of my shots of the Pearl - about to cross the finish in the Chesapeake.

Just proves you can have a great sailing movie Without country music.

I had a dream, I was sailing, I was happy, I was even smiling. Then I looked down and saw that I was on a multi-hull and woke up suddenly in a cold sweat.

Thanks guys That just inspires me to make more once I get the Bayfield.

I'm planning to singlehand the 22' Capri to Bowen island again tomorrow - Maybe I'll be able to rig the Camera somehow.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

well, never went out yesterday. It was a bit too cold for a single handling in an unheated boat, and I mis-located my thermos.
