Ahhh, this is too bad, this is one place high on our list to visit once our ability matches our desires, however, I would rather see it restricted than compromised.

When I was looking into it, I was surprised to see that Santa Cruz Is. had a airport large enough to land a commerical jet at Isla Baltra ( northside of the Island ) and a large populated area at Puerto Ayora (southside of the Island )

I can understand the concern

This is the first rest stop on the way home. I was hopping to have a gander at the place. I too didnt realis there was 20,000 people on the islands.
