Charlie - thanks, thats the thread.

SA - I hear ya. I don't really care anymore, it was just the initial shock of the "near carpenter" prices I will be getting his estimate in the mail in the next couple of days. My fall back is getting insurance involved, they won't put up with an overpriced estimate if I come up with two or three much lower ones. If I get a 300 dollar estimate and a 500 dollar estimate, I will offer him the greater, take it or sue me.
