NOAA charts and On-line viewer
Probably old news to some of you...but noaa now has all charts on line available for quick viewing for planning purposes which is really handy. No software required...just click on an area...find the chart you want and click on it to view.

That's a cool service I very much wish the Canadian and British chartmakers would offer.

One nice thing about it is that you can make sure you're ordering the correct charts by looking to see if they cover where you need them to...

is there any free program that can run the e charts that noaa has posted for download?

Freesail99 04-17-2007 09:39 PM

Sea Clear will run noaa charts

But SeaClear will only work with the raster BSB type charts, not the ENC charts.
