Lightbulb Sea Angel

Sea Angel

I wish I were The Sea Angel,

For all who are at Sea.

I'd visit every Port and Ship,

Make sure all's well with thee.

I would rescue every soul,

The Sea had tried to take.

I would breathe life into them,

Watch them become awake.

I'd lift the fallen to the top,

So that they could go home.

In health and wealth, and love for God,

And love for those they know.

I wish I were The Sea Angel,

I'd visit everyone,

I'd turn big storms away,

Just enough to make it fun!

Stand watch morning, noon, and nite,

And If the sea stood tall.

I''d break the power of it's might,

And save the lives of all.

I wish I were The Sea Angel,

I'd keep all from harm.

And whisper words of comfort.

No cause to be alarmed.

I wish I were The Sea Angel,

I'd make the nite light bright.

That none be lost along the way,

Or suffer fear or fright.

I'd make sure every sailor,

Had proper food and rest.

And a bit of grog or white wine,

For their souls happiness.

I wish.. I were.. The Sea Angel.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I would, but I don't know how to do that. So I will leave that to you guys, if you will, while I pray for her.

Camaraderie...Many kind thanks for everything you are doing, and for the compliment.
I was inspired by a cpt friend of mine in the bering Sea.
He was facing a really big one out there last yr headed his way. He let me know just in time. I humbled myself and prayed... I didn't get to hear from him for a while so it was all about faith for me. The next time I heard from him he said the storm took a turn N. and skirted them. He works on an oil tanker. He's a pretty special guy to me.
