It's not impossible, it just costs more.

When I was in college, I had a roommate who had literally just gotten off the boat after a seven-year sail around the world with his family. They made a documentary of it for (then) West German TV.

Anyway, he had a grand idea of taking a Hobie 18 around the Carribean during winter break. I told him he was nuts (well, he was). I wish I'd taken him up on it now, though.

Actually, one year, we beat them four times in a row, to set a world record return from being 3-0 in a league championship series and then went to take the World Series... My sister-in-law is a Yankees fan, and I'm a Bosox fan... and I'm sending her the DVD collector's edition set for her birthday...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Actually, seeing the maralosers in the playoffs would be nice!

As far as sailing goes, saw a vidio awhile back of the Pirated of caribian V70 cruising along at some 20+ knots, looked like a fun ride, as did the video of Orange Cat doing close to 40 knots!

Next, to see ex spouses name for being arrested in paper! Will not go farther into details!
