Giu - about 300 nautical miles, open water, under sail. 300 nm open water, under power. And around 350 on the Waterway, under power. In other words, way, way too much motoring for a sailboat.

I'll see what I can do about a map.

Showme is on a distinguished road
John I tried to contact you before we left Kemah, TX. Sailing a 36ft Bayfield...We left on April 22 sailing past Galveston and headed for Panama City, FL spent a day there eating at Bayou Joe's..wonderful food on the water...Then sailed into Dunedin, FL on the 2nd of May....Had wonderful weather and stopped a couple of times out in the middle of nowhere for a swim....And even caught a few fish along the way....Hope the rest of your trip is wonderful...

Fair Winds...

John

Showme - we would probably have been better off heading to the Panhandle instead of the Keys. But, in the end, it worked out well for a variety of venues. Are you heading south from Dunedin? I'm going to be in the Tampa vincity at least till Tuesday after the crew leaves for Alaska.

Gil-the blog is right here on Sailnet. Haven't had a chance to post the info on the website yet, which may, or may not, be more detailed than the Sailnet blog.
