Strength of The Noreaster

I am 420 miles west of Cape Hatteras. This is the 3rd straight day of winds out of the NE, gusting to 30 mph. Some clouds making it this far as well.

Actually I am in NC, honing my skills on Lake Norman, the largest lake in the state.

lol Didn't think Charlotte was that far west. Lake Norman...the shore lined with glass.... Want to sail a less spolied lake head down to Strom Thurmond. One of the largest, cleanest, most attractive inland lakes in the South. Some 1200 miles of shoreline. But don't take my word for it, check it out!

Red

Glad I missed that one, but have been worried, as the boat is in Moyock, NC and I'm in MI.

Definetly could have obtained hull speed and wet a rail last week! I am at the LNSC in Denver.
