Annapolis Slips

I'm thinking of getting a slip at Chesapeake Harbour in (or near) Annapolis. Are there any current or previous slip holders that has positive or negative comments?

I've got kids and I think they would have a great time at the beach and pools there.

I just vacated a slip at a guy's house on mill creek for $250/month. He doesn't have anyone else taking it yet. Take the extra hundreds of dollars a month and join a club! Let me know via PM if you want the #.

The wife requires a pool within walking distance of the slip, so I guess I'm going to have to pay marina prices.

I'm not sure of the size of the slip on Mill Creek.

SteveInMd,
The previous owners of the boat I just bought kept it there for many years and they loved it. Good luck.

I keep Split Decision at Annapolis Landing Marina. It's on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for in Annapolis. I pay about $6600 for a slip that could hold up to 45'. My 36CC with dingy davits still has a lot of room. Quick access to the bay. Nice lawns, pool with lifeguards, restuarant on premises if you feel lazy, fuel on site, free pump out for slip holders and the water taxi stops at the marina when you want to spend some time downtown. Discount rides on water taxi for slip holders. This will be our 5th season at ALM.

They have a web site if you want more info: Annapolis Landing Marina -on the Chesapeake Bay - Annapolis, Maryland, offering quality services with a yacht club atmosphere.
