Has anyone ever

Sailed from New Bern NC to Norfolk Va. Just wondering the time and distance. There is a Hunter 29.5 that I would like to look at in New Bern but advanced homework is requiring some more info.

Thanks.

I would allow 3 days...maybe 4. Here's what I would do:
New Bern to Belhaven long day 1
Belhaven to Coinjock long day 2
Coinjock to Norfolk day 3

Throw in another day there to allow for the bridge/lock rush hour closings near norfolk unless you wanna keep going after 6pm. Tough to make the distances needed in a 29 footer so you might need to stop at Atlantic Yacht Basin in Great Bridgeand then have a very short 4th day. All of this assumes good weather and long daylight hours.

Thanks for the input. Don't know if that is something I want to tackle or not. Well have to really think about this.

Thanks again.
