USCG Public Comment On The Need For HF Radio Broadcasts

Make this one a sticky, please!

Request For Public Comment On The Need For HF Radio Broadcasts

The Coast Guard is soliciting public comment on the need to continue providing high frequency (HF) radio broadcasts of weather forecasts and warnings.

Check the website here, read it and register your opinion. This almost has shades of The Weather Channel trying to outlaw NOAA dissemination of weather forecasts for free in the Internet!

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
