orthomartin is on a distinguished road
the start

I have raced the PH-Mac 21 times. Fun race but to watch the start is best. Easy to position and get a good view. Finish, well you will have a tough time getting there befor the fleet in a sailboat. The corse is set up for a short course up the mi shore and a long corse to the east side of norther lk huron. Boats finish over a 2 1/2 day period. Also you will not get a slip in MacIs and you really can't anchor in the harbor. Poor holding and very busy
