Boat transport on East coast

Has anyone had a good experience moving their boat with a truck transport company on the East coast?? There are a lot of bad stories out there about transporting boats.

Boat transport on East coast

I had an excellent experience with Wiley Price Jr. at JOWI Marine Transport. He took my 35'' sailboat from Baltimore, MD to Westbrook, CT for a fair price and with professional care.

We used Brownell Systems, Inc. out of Mattapoisett, MA to move our newly acquired 34'' sloop from CT to NH in October with excellent results. We found them to be prompt, careful, professional, etc. etc. I can''t comment on price as I have nothing to compare to. Seemed OK to me. I understand that they are the people that invented the trailers that most transport companies use today. Check them out @ www.brownellsystems.com. Hope they workout as good for you as they did for us.
