Alright, here ya go! I've been "lurking" lately mainly because I've been about 1000 miles from the boat for the last several months, really don't have any questions and not enough experience yet to answer many. But only 32 hours, 30 minutes-ish and I'll be back aboard! So get ready for a flood of questions!

Not if we can help it. We are not going to let that happen.

Happy sailing Bermuda.
Let us know how it goes.

Just lurke a little longer

Well I will lurke for a bit more. I have my 1st sailing lesson the 23rd. So until I get a little time on the SF Bay, I will just sit back and enjoy your posts.

LOL@Freesail. I spent 20 Years in the Marines, and donated quite a bit of my stomach contents to the sea But all advice is welcome.

The school is OCSC Sailing School | San Francisco Bay | Sailing Lessons | California and will certify USS standards so I should be good to go. I read the posts from you guys and I can't wait to learn.

Had my first sailing lesson\class in April - loved it - is it a 1 or 2 day lesson? Alos check out the sticky on Sailing books - reading some will help as well.

Welcome aboard Gunny - It won't take long to separate out the BS and just move on.
