Lake Champlain Meet-Up?

How many people here sail their boat on Lake Champlain? My wife and I have been thinking about putting together a get-together some weekend in August and we're trying to see how many people may be interested. If you would be, please respond to this thread and let us know where you would prefer (i.e. Champlain Bridge Area, Westport, Willsboro, Burlington [Our Preference], Mallets Bay, Plattsburgh Area, Valcour, or somewhere else?)

If you know others from Lake Champlain (who don't frequent SailNet), please encourage them to visit this thread and let us know their interest too!

Thanks!

Chris

WOW-I can't believe there are no responses yet to this post. There are so many sailboats on Lake Champlain. Our boat is up in Plattsburgh, but we are moving it down to Long Island Sound as we recently relocated to Connecticut. A get together is a great idea though-wish we could be there!

I know... I figured I'd get 7-8 people responding.. maybe nobody wants to meet up! We're heading to Plattsburgh for a day next week... Willsboro to Westport to Burlington to Valcour/Snug Harbour to Plattsburgh back to Willsboro... Sunday through Sunday.

We are chartering out of Mooney Bay from July 27th until August 3rd so we will probably miss you. Probably will motor/sail (depending on wind) to Westport, NY, on July 28 (or at least to Converse Bay) to visit with family a few days and then make our way back to Valcour Island (Sloop Cove) and then back to Mooney Bay by August 3rd. Will we cross your path?

We're on the lake pretty much every weekend. Let us know when you're around and we'll see where we are! We never pass up the opportunity to socialize!

We will look for you on the lake. My wife and I will be on a chartered Beneteau 311 named Carpe Diem.
