Nice photos. I just got back myself from an overnighter from HHI to Beaufort with three friends. 12 kts on a broad reach on the way there, 12 kts on a beam on the way home, with the tide working for us in both directions. Got drunker than Otis last night on the waterfront walkway, and fell asleep playing trivial pursuit in the cockpit. Doesn't get much better than that. So did your son get a little seasick?

Looks like you had a lively Sunday sail BF - who cleaned up Max's mess?

That's how Narragansett Bay sometimes gets at the Bay's entrance - been out there many times in those conditions . . . not for the faint of stomach. This past Sunday though - winds were only 5-8 knots, surface was like a mill pond.

Hog - sounds like the way to go. My brother and I have a rule about drinking. If you fall asleep with your shoes off, your sleeping, if you fall asleep with your shoes on, you're passed out and fair game!

TB - After I beat him for making a mess, I made him clean it up.

Looks like a lot of fun.
Its easy to see from your photos how different sailing in different regions can be.
We too get 8 foot waves. But our 8 foot waves are steep like a cliff of water, and our waves are soo close together that you don't get a break between waves.
Nice photo's, and when did you start wearing lipstick?

We get big lumbering, rollers here. Thats why I like surfing here so much. Lots of time to get set up and on the wave. 10 feet is a pretty typical swell right under the bridge in the summer. Combination of wind swell and a strong current.
I wear lipstick on the boat because I can't wear my heals. They get stuck in the locker gaps.

Those pics brought back some memories of my one and only visit to S.F.
I got off the plane got on the boat and we left. I had to help the FNG secure deck gear. before we got under the the golden gate he was useless, couldn,t get him out of bed for the next four days. when we got to Seattle I saw him for a split second bolting down the gang way. second mate and deck watches for four days that P.O.S. owes me
Sounds like Max is the tougher of the two at least he Made a comeback
