Im going to have a good one. Going to stay on the boat with my wife and 2 kids and watch fireworks from 4 places. It seems that the anchorage im in is perfect for seeing most all of the fireworks around town.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

We started our holiday last Saturday. Cruised to Chicago for the 3rd of July Fireworks. (Yes thats right, The Firework display is on the 3rd. Don't ask me why.)

Have a happy 4th, and be safe.

We're headed to New Bern for the July 4th celebration there. It's our first trip UP the Neuse River... usually we are headed towards the Pamlico Sound.

Hope everyone has a safe and fun Independence Day!
