Peaceful night in the anchorage

I just wanted to share this picture. I had a great sail down to Still Pond, MD, on Friday, and it was a perfect, quiet, warm, evening on the hook. This is a great life we have....

Cheers!

Pmoyer,
I knew that place without even looking at the description. I sail out of Havre De Grace, and Still Pond is one of my favorite places anchor out. Also a nice place that isn't to much farther down is Worton Creek. Matter of fact, I have a few Still Pond sunset pics of my own.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Is that water polluted? It looks polluted... I think I can see a few Coney Island Whitefish floating there-a-bouts ...

Skeeters - we didn't put screens in either the foredeck hatch or the companionway, and there was only one in the boat the whole night.

Pollution - nah, water's pretty good. I don't think I'd cook pasta in it, but....

Cheers!
