THe problem here is, that an Urses horribellous will not only eat flowers, berries etc, they will also eat salmon and other mammals, ie YOU! Now the Urses arctis, may not go after you, they are more plant eaters, unless of course you get between mommy and cubs!

Needless to say, ANY Urses sp stay away from excepting maybe camera range, and even then it may be too close!

I finished 2nd last night in Fast boat division, best finish yet, altho was 6th of 9 overall, but a good night all things considering! Me having 22 yr old sails, everyone else having from 1st time out to 3'ish yr old sails! Was within 1 min actual of equal sized rated boats in slow group, I got a wrong rating an am racing in fast group...oh well, life goes on........

Tenuki-

I double dog dare you to walk up to one of the scary flower-eating bears and swat it on the nose... and then see how scary they can be...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
