I'm thinking about taking my boat (Precision 21) up to lake Erie in Augest for a weekend. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to moor it or put it in a slip. I was thinking of putting it in at Sandusky and just hanging around the south west side of the lake. Are there any good sights I should see while I'm up there?
we had our boat docked at Sandusky Harbor and sailed to cedar point and Kelly's Island, there is Put-N-Bay! That is a fun place if you planning on staying mooring up and drinking all night, they have Taxi service that comes and picks you up, and takes you back to your boat! Other then that I guess thats it! Have fun..
We spent a week at South Beach Resort on Sandusky Bay. They have a hotel, cabins, 3 pools and a protected deep water marina. Very family oriented. We have a 19' Newport Holiday and it was nice to be on the bay when the lake was too rough. Biggest drawback is that the cabins fill up early and you need to book in Dec or Jan for the summer.
