Sailing Songs?

What do you guys listen to when you are on the water? I like Jimmy Buffet sets the mood, I have been trying to find something new?

I'm guessing this topic has come up before.....I like James Taylor, Elton John, Van Morrison, Steely Dan, Cat Stevens, Billie Holiday, Bessie Smith, Traffic, old Rod Stewart, Clapton....or if you want something from this century, try Ray Lamontagne, the Delays, Blue Scholars (awesome Seattle band) or Citizen Cope.

Try Nick Cave's "Ship Song"... one of my favorites. I also like to listen to Miles Davis, Jose Gonzales, Neko Case and a ton more... depends on the wind actually! But really... my favorite thing to listen to is the water slapping against the hull/freeboard. THAT is music to my ears.

The Supersuckers did a great cover of the Lionel Richie song, Sail On, kinda of a southern rock, country ballad.
