Pan Pan

Just heard the coast guard issue a pan pan - apparently a 27' Alberg is overdue from Hawaii to Port Angeles. I think they said her name was Lea Lea or something like that. I hope she is okay. Takes courage to sail that distance with such a small vessel.

Don't know the boat, but I grew up trusting Carl Alberg designs and wasn't disappointed.

Thats kind of going the wrong direction. The Trans pac will be passing through the full length if they were running upwind. Hope they turn up...
