Thanks Dhart. I appreciate a good thread. I was envolved with a thread on the catalina owners group (the one about the capt firing an old black powder pistol at a jetskier)it was a good discussion, maybe 43 replys and was nearly tared and feathered cause i didnt go along with the masses. Phil stepped in(as usual) and shut the whole thing down(perhaps i did a little flaming toward one yahoo. he just does''nt get it.)
I love the boards, they are a wealth of info. Being unarmed and uninformed in a deal and getting the muddy side of the stick is one of the things i hate above anything else.The info in these posts help me and hoards of other uninformed sailors.
I wanna know how much time it takes BR56 to come up with all that jargon??? tell him not to stop. It is easy to spot a free thinker. He is the one that everyone else is in confederacy against.Whats the best sunburn remedy??? I burned my ass off today

Ahoy, colehankins. Big Red''s lingo comes out of a bottle of Jamaican rum. That''s also why he is a free thinker. If your brain was pickled, you couldn''t charge to think either. Ha! I was on the water nine days awhile back and started with almost no color base. I used SPF 45 liberally twice a day and didn''t even burn. And I was in it all day too. Heavy on the nose. Wear a hat with a brim all around. Saves both nose and ears.
