Clorox says: 4 drops/quart, 16 drops/gallon, 1 teaspoon/5 gallons. Mix well, wait 30 mins. Water shud have a slight bleach odor. If not, repeat and wait 15 more minutes. Westmarine/Defender sell various chemical and filtering systems if you want to go that route.
