yup, i kept a boat north of Los Angeles, a 4 hour drive and had to learn the tides. its all a learning curve. fortunately, my cal 30 was very forgiving. we're getting ready to get another ocean boat but Nimfy wont settle for anything under 36'. (god i luv her) i catch her shopping yachtworld daily
