My back hurts and my palms have this strange growth... jeeeez, I think it's... hair... but I can't tell because it's suddenly growing very dark in here... oh, god, I can't see!

John also has some good feature stories in the archives here on SailNet. Another really good one he wrote is actually an excellent reference book titled "The Used Boat Notebook". In it he gives you the low down based on his own experiences sailing used boats - pros and cons, what works, what doesn't. Beyond being a world class sailor with more than a quarter million documented blue water miles, he's just a helluva nice guy, too...
