My name is Indigo Montoya. You keeled my father, prepare to die. Sorry. I couldn't resist. Welcome to sailnet. I'm not a sailor yet, so I do the corny jokes. Congratulations on your new boat--my husband and I are looking at the smaller Catalina's for our first boats as well.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

SD, I know that, I was stretching it a bit. Maybe a bit too far. My kids watch Princess Bride about 5 times a day. My son thinks he is Inigo.

Free, is the heart, that lives not, in fear.
Full, is the spirit, that thinks not, of falling.
True, is the soul, that hesitates not, to give.
Alive, is the one, that believes, in love.

Not just yet, he's not even two yet! But he thinks every toy in the house is a sword now and makes everyone sword fight with him! Knocked my floor lamp over the other day trying to swing from the top of it like it was a chandelier. Can't wait until he's older and more adventurous--the ER bills will be enormous.
