2007 Port Credit In-water Boat Show

There was an in-water boat show this past weekend at Port Credit, ON. It was neat because they feature used vessels as well as new models.

There was good representation from Hunter, Catalina, Jeanneau, and Beneteau, and then there was the odd Tartan, Bavaria, and Hanse.

There were some older Niagara's and C&Cs and others as well. Unfortunately, I can't remember all of them, and my camera bit the dust after about 20 shots.

Oh well - if you're interested in some safety and rescue vessels, as well as some Catalina and Hunter pics, specs, and prices, I've uploaded what I was able to get to an album here:

It was time well spent - being able to tour each vessel at your leisure one after another really gives you a good idea of what feels "right" as opposed to something that's "meh". On it's own, the "meh" vessel might seem okay, but stacked up against something that makes you go "wow", it immediately drops off your list as something you might like to own (as happened to the Beneteau models in my case - they are now at the bottom of the list of contenders for my future $$ from this particular show's candidates.
