By the way,
If you translate the name of the captain in English, it will sound like captain Nailhard. And so are his adventures.

He was captured by the pirates in Ethiopia and was not killed because one of them used to study in USSR and convinced the gang to release Evgeniy. He was left on the boat with next to nothing to leave on and sail with. He still made it to Yemen.
