I'm sure the Sweden decision was based on purely academic grounds.

I would try academia in Sweden anytime. (too bad its not a developing country...I could get a job there)

OK, while Cam did convince me on Sweden, I decided to add three more destinations to the list: Singapore, Hong Kong, Capetown SA. Any input on these?

I'm still going with Sweden. I don't wanna be anywhere I can't read the street signs, get caned or have to hire armed security guards to protect me!

Singapore is way too restrictive... Hong Kong too polluted... Capetown too dangerous. I'd say that Sweden is still the top of the list...
