surveyors in Annapolis or Florida

hi,

I was hoping you guys would be able to tell me of a good surveyor you have had in the past, in either the Annapolis or Florida area, one that works for the buyer and not the seller.

thanks

I enthusiastically recommend Gail Browning at Hartof Marine Survey. She was professional and extradordinarily competent. She was independent and neutral and definitely saved a sale that I was inclined to abandon. Three years later I can say that she enabled my wife and I to realize our dream boat. On the technical side, she provided a 32 page survey that was even more picky than me!

For Florida, I would reccomend Bobby Brown, Blue Water Surveyors. VERY DETAILED and TOTALLY buyer oriented... to the point he has really irritated many borkers. But that is a good thing. Nordhavn uses him, as I understand it. He also works Texas.

I know Bobby personally and helped him saild his boat down the CA coast a bit. Good guy. If you are interested, tell him I sent you over.

In Annapolis I would recommend Bob Turner of Kelsey Turner Associates. I can provide a phone number if you need it.
