I wonder how that thing reacts to a confused sea? I don't see how the articulated legs accomodate pitch.

Far, far in the distance I saw what looked like 4 Jetskis, in formation, coming up the East River in NYC, the gondola/cabin lost in the clutter of tall buildings. It turned around before I could make out what the heck it was. An impressive design concept. Thanks for the link.

Greeks weren't Spartan, and Proteus lived at the mouth of the Nile. A little education is no substitute for a little fact-checking.

Spartans would have chosen a conventional boat and not complained about rough seas.
