US Registry

I've looked but cannot find. Is there an online listing of US registered vessels ? If so, where is the bugger hiding ?

TDW,
They call it documentation over here. There is also a registration, but that is for each state. Documentation is what you are looking for, almost no one that can get your way is "registered" except a few solid small boats like Flicka and the like. You have to know the vessels name to make a good search at that site though.

TDW-

There is no on-line listing of all the USCG documented boats, nor AFAIK, is there any resource listing state registered boats for the different states. However, you can search for a USCG federally documented boat by name, as pointed out by Sapperwhite's link above.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Yes, it prevents the fly-by one-post link spamming bots...
