At first I thought of a Formosa 47 . . .

But looks a bit different . . . . unless ports and standing rigging (masts & booms originally wood) were modified.

But then Captain Ron's Formosa 51 came to mind . .

You chartered a Formosa when vacationing in the Caribbean with your family last year. Did it look similar?

Sorry, TB, no absolutely not, this is smaller, and I have seen it for many years, but never was curious to findout.

Then one day I was taking Fred to his club, and it was out of the water. Stayed for 2 weeks and returned to the water...

I bet its some boat that found its way to portugal from the UK or Netherlands or something and someone here bought it.

It REALLY looks like a large version of an Endurance 35 - a Peter Ibold design that was produced in different places, but many were built in Vancouver by Fraser Yachts.

There are some Endurance 40s on Yachtworld....

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
