How many of you can brag about something like this??

My marina in Cascais has a family of Dolphin living quite recentely inside it..as you know, dolphins do not populate poluted areas...

They "nest" right in where my boat normally lives!!

I have seen a lot of donkeys in most marinas but people don't brag about them much.

No they don't..they have showed up once a few years back and left.

A friend send me the news they were back, but I forgot, then today checking the site of my marina I saw the photos. My boat is still in the south, so I haven't seen them yet.

Its illegal to feed or interact with wildlife here.

Once I return if they are there, I'll take photos.

Did you see the link above?

Yes, but these are not in a harbour, they are inside the marina! by the boats and fingers..exactly where my boat lives.

In SW Florida, it is VERY common to see dolphins. Lots and lots of them. We also have the occasional manatee, which is interesting. Come to think about it, I would have to say there are very few times I have ever gone out that dolphins were not around. THey were also around and in the marinas.

It was a very cool day when a kid from the Midwest got a first hand look at Dolphins in their natural setting. Don't forget, I lived my whole life in the midwest. I have always sailed the Great Lakes only. Can't say they were in a marina or harbor, but we still had a good time.
