Is there an Internet website that shows wind, tide, water conditions?

I want to check areas of oceans for wind and water conditions not coastal areas but open sea. Has anyone heard of an internet website that has real time current data for water conditions around the world?

This may not answer your question entirely, but Paul Lutus wrote a tidal prediction program with a worldwide database called JTides. His website is quite amazing and he has a free ebook about his sail around the world.
Go to arachnoids dot com. (I am not allowed to put links since I don'thave enough posts, so the "dot" represents a period).

Lutus wrote the Apple Writer program, one of the first word processing programs. I was going to write that program, but I was busy with something that day and whatnot.

Sailflow.com shows a lot of marine specific information graphically. LINK

Try the NOAA Buoy Center at http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/rmd.shtml

There's also several other resources for marine weather, tides and current data on that are accessible from the NOAA home page (www.noaa.gov).

I use WIND GURU to get an idea of the winds in my area.

You'd have to refine the question. Some of that data is probably proprietary (i.e. the UK keeps Crown Copyright and sells some data) while some of it is easily found on the internet (i.e. US meteorological buoys and historical data online) while the general information about global currents in readily available--but AFAIK not tracked in real time by anyone who would be posting it to share.
Tracking is expensive business, it may not be available on the scale you want. Or, any oceanographer might be able to point you to what is available free.

I thought I was up on most sites like this, had not seen it before and I LIKE IT. Thanks for the headsup. I usually use the National Buoy Database for planning and current conditions in areas I sail.

I love wind guru. They seem to be more accurate than NOAA. :p

If you're looking for open ocean conditions, I don't think you find much real time data. You'll probably have to work with GRIB prediction data.
