Another Sunday Sail (Video)

Choppy conditions again on L Michigan.
With the camera facing aft, you get a better idea of the conditions.
The Great Lakes are famous for steep chop with very little break
inbetween waves. I hope you can see this from the vid.

Funny story, In the video Bobby and Julie fake feeding the fish.
About two hours later, Bobby would not be faking it.

Great vid, fun times, that's what it's all about. I took a video of our Sunday sail, had a reef in to keep the boat flat for the admiral, then I accidently deleted the video on the camera!

Unfortunately, cameras, both video and still, tend to really flatten out the waves...

Especially facing forward. Very little pitch detectable looking that way. Were they actually having fun, or were they being nice to you? I sometimes wonder, especially on those choppy days, if our family and friends really get the same thrill from this craziness as we do...

I know the people I sail with regularly do... they're almost as insane as me... I say almost just because they didn't spend the bucks on the boat.

Nice sleighride Tim - but sorry to hear Bobby ended up chumming the lake . . . should have brought some fishing poles . It's great that Julie hung in there though. Thanks for sharing.
