Thanks Soul Searcher...

Not a big fan of the music... but the sailing in the video looks like a lot of fun... It must really be blowing like stink, given the boat is reefed.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Thought you would like it. my computer has a mute button that I use frequently(see signature). We took our boat out Sunday to catch the last day of the trimaran showdown. Very cool boats

Not the nationals but we had a good turn out. The boys from New York cleaned house, overall and in the f28 class. It was fun to watch, even though the home team got beat. Oh well next year.

Understandable, when you've only got a third of a real boat.

Holy schnike! Look at how much air this boat is getting and the darned thing is heavily reefed!

Let me see a vid of a half boat (or .333 boat) doing that!

Multi-hull sailor's unite!
I'm tired of being called a RV driver by my sailing buddies/yacht club members.
Hull speed is a half boater mathmatical excuse/realization of the limitations of half boats, not what a boat can do. I figure some dude 5,000 years ago thought that a dug out log canoe was a radical depature from hanging onto a 'natural log' boat.

On the other hand as I've said before - if you want to fly a hull, fly a hobie, not a hull.
The day I lift a hull is the last day my wife goes sailing with me and the day I put training wheels on my Gemini.
