Nice photos of sailing

I went sailing today and Henrique took my camera and shote these..


Wind North at 21kts, no swell or waves, Captain was Fred, me on sails.

Enjoy. I did..by the way..this is serious sail shaping and trim...look at that main twist...cooool

Now that's proper, get-the-flag-wet sailing.

Unfortunately, it was like that for us on Alex's boat for only 20 minutes or so.

The photographer knew how to get good shots of the sails working.

Val, the photographer is that friend of mine that owns the sailing school equiped with the 35 foot race boats, remember?

He has all of his race boats in the bow of my boat. The grand Surprise boats.

And in the photos above you can see his boats racing privately in the background.

We should get a nie group and organize something in portugal with his boats...its almost free...

Giu, I made a comment a long time ago about Fred becoming an ocean racer(bowman i think)....I really believe it. He will one day crew or captain on an ocean race team. He is already competitive in Optis, and he has plenty of helm time on a fast big boat (yours). Good for you for the great family, and good for Fred for the great Dad (and his Dads great boat hahahaha).
